Getting a good clean-out

Sunday, February 27th, 2011

Cleaning out your colon is one of those things that seems like a good idea.

After all, there’s all kinds of, how can one put it?, basically pre-toilet material up there. It’s your internal sewer, isn’t it?

Well, in some ways it certainly is. That’s where the stuff sits before it reaches the toilet after all. However, a lot of it isn’t just sitting there – it’s being processed with lots of useful things being taken out and absorbed into your body. So colon cleansers like colonetix need to be careful that they don’t clean everything out. Some of it consists of bacteria that are required to make things like vitamin K (an essential part of blood clotting) that your body needs and which aren’t supplied by way of your food.

Yes, there’s gunge, and, yes, it’s not a bad idea to clear it out now and again but be mindful of some side-effects and be sure to take supplements to make up for some of what was cleared out for a while afterwards.

Sleeping easily

Thursday, January 27th, 2011

The problem with sleeping problems is that it’s often very much a family problem with one non-sleeper keeping at least one other person awake because of it.

Which, of course, means that there’s even more of an interest in sleep aids than there would be normally. But do they work? Well, yes, but that’s not the problem. The issue is that when you can’t sleep there’s generally a reason behind it, most commonly some form of stress leading to your brain not closing down normally. It’s that problem that you need to look at as sleeping aids aren’t a long term solution.

Helping reduce the spread of contact based disease

Thursday, January 27th, 2011

One of the problems in drying your hands is that there are loads of contact diseases around these days and that’s where hand dryers really come into their own.

Whilst it might seem daft to install one of these in your own bathroom in fact it’s probably one of the easiest ways to reduce the spread of the flu around your family. No more spreading of germs via the towels.
