A wonderful device to let you walk across water

Millau BridgeThere were many natural bridges created by fallen trees and whatnot but nobody knows when the first person got around to replicating that delibrately and built their very own bridge.

Whether it was across a river or just a crevace a little too wide to jump over, nobody knows either. Whatever that first man-made bridge crossed, the invention has come a long way since then with this particular bridge shaving up to three hours off the journey across the valley that it spans.
